Regular Exam
- Midterm exam: Seven to eight weeks after the beginning of the semester
- Final exam: End of semester
Students who miss more than a quarter of the number of hours per subject are not eligible to take the exam in that subject and will be given an F grade.
Make-up Exam
Eligibility for a Make-up Exam
- Non-attendance due to the official events of the school, overlap of the test schedules, or and military orders.
- Non-attendance due to an illness or death (parent).
- Non-attendance due to other reasons recognized by the respective Dean of the College.
Procedures for Taking Additional Exams
- Fill out an application form for the make-up exam (with supporting documents).
- Obtain confirmation by the professor via the advisory professor and the head of the school (department).
- Submit to the appropriate department.
Others
Section 1 of the additional test subjects is graded as A+ with . And sections 2 and 3 are graded as B+ or lower.
Evaluation Methods
- Grades are based on a relative evaluation.
- In principle, grades are calculated by test scores (80/100), attendance (10/100), and assignments (10/100) for each course.
- Students who leave to report for military service after three-fourths of school days have passed will have their grades assessed by their mid-term test scores, etc. Before entering the army, students must fill out the Certificate of Achievement Evaluation for Completion of Subject (available in the Academic Affairs team), which requires confirmation by the professor in charge of each subject.
Evaluation Unit
The grade will be assessed by the each class. When one department (school) is divided into two or more classes, all students taking the course can be relatively assessed.

Students who have dropped a class will be included in the total number of students when grading.
Grade Disclosure and Correction
- Grade disclosure: A minimum of three days or more within seven days from the final exam
- Disclosure Method: Login to the course registration website (sugang.inha.ac.kr)- Course evaluation and grade check.
- If there is a valid reason, such as a recording mistake, after the grade processing has ended, students can submit a grade correction petition (available at the department office) and have it corrected after obtaining permission from the Academic Affairs Office.
Grade Cancellation
Students who have been disciplined for misconduct will be graded as follows in accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 3 of the Enforcement Rules of the School Regulations.
- Probation: An 'F' grade only for the subject student cheated in.
- Limited suspension of 15 days or more and less than 30 days: The disciplinary period will begin from the date of the student’s cheating on an exam, and 'F' will be given for the exam conducted during this period.
- Limited suspension of more than 30 days and indefinite suspension: 'F' for all the subjects of the semester
Academic Probation
The student with a grade average of less than 1.70 (regular semester) for each semester will be placed under academic probation. If a student receives three consecutive academic probations during enrollment or four cumulative probations, the student will be expelled.
Grade Notice to the Family
Individual report cards will be sent to each household (address of the guardian)
